Disused Railway Bridge near Stanhope

The Weardale Way Heritage Railway reaches upto Stanhope - but not as far as here.

The bridge across the Wear is in a state of near collapse, and would coast a fortune to repair.

The rusting railway lines are almost covered in weeds and grass.
