Salter Fell Track (1)

Properly known as the Hornby Road, this long track runs for miles through the uplands of Bowland, in Lancashire. At this point it is heading just below Hard Hill Top towards Croasdale, near the head of the Whitendale River. This ancient way was once used for the packhorse transportation of salt, - hence the name.
