Test Shot 1
Picked up my Hitech 0.9 (3 stop) ND grad filter, with the Cokin Z pro setup, 4 GB CF card and a book on exposure recently.
B&W Circular polarizer will be here in a few days..
ND grad filters are useful in that they can help balance exposure between sky and land which is especially useful with the harsh sun here.
The above shot is a great example in that if you meter on the trees the sky is blown and if you meter on the sky the trees would be silhouettes.
Nice thing about this setup is that with an adaptor ring I can fit it to any sized lens that I want.
And with careful positioning of the filter it can make do as a 3 stop ND filter also...
Possibilities are endless with this flowing water, sunrises, sunsets and even a certain Shipwreck...
