I was viewing the shots I had taken of this old abandoned building when these two kids dashed towards me from the other side of the street and started straining their necks to see the pictures for themselves. I was so amused with them (and their very colorful Metro Aide-inspired getups) that after the viewing session I asked them to pose for me. They willingly obliged. To my surprise the kids did not ask for "pamasko" (it was 3 days after Christmas, Feast of the Innocents) from me, as all other streetkids do. So naturally I emptied the pocket where I keep my coins and handed all its contents to them as "pamasko". They then bid me goodbye and promptly crossed the street back to where they were playing before our photo session, eleven pesos richer. I think everyone came off that chance meeting quite happy.
