Ruddy Darter
This active male Ruddy Darter gave me the run around for a while before he finally settled and allowed me to get some images. I used a wide aperture to blur the background but getting the eyes and the tail tip in focus at apertures like this is almost impossible. To get around this I later blended the sharpest overall image with a second image which showed the tail tip in better focus.
