Common Darter

No cropping here, it's a true MACRO

I'd guess about 1:1 on my 22.7mm wide sensor

 

Achieved using a 180mm macro lens, 1.4x converter and 31mm extension tube.

 

This female was sitting on a twig on the ground allowing me to shoot whilst lying down.

As she was unperturbed by my presence, I added the extension tube to my lens combination to get a little closer.
