New Challenge
I have recently been attending a life drawing class. This is a new challenge for me, one I have considered briefly several times over the years, then one popped up at a convenoient time just up the road from work.
I have not drawn or painted for over thirty years since "O" level art at 16. Had no idea whether I could even produce anything which looked vaguely human. As it turns out, I can, even if not particularly skilled nor creative in my approach.
This one is not from the class though I may post some shortly. This was a charcoal experiment from one of my favourite nudes, fantastically lit, on Flickr. Perhaps the photographer, who posts as "Allure + Desire", can be persuaded to post a photolink here. Many thanks to him and his beautiful model. I hope they like what I've done with the original.
