The King and Queen of Hearts (livers, spleens....)

Feliz día de San Valentín!

 

Male and female King Vultures look the same, so this might be a couple snuggled up together by the bromeliad.

 

They mate for life, no amicable seperations in the animal kingdom.

 

Taken in the Caribbean Lowlands of Costa Rica.
