It's been a long time
I have been away from Flickr since mid May - due to an incident that meant I couldn't use my hands properly to wield camera equipment. I still can't, but things are improving and I am now able to drive.
It was my first trip today to a nature reserve since May - just as an observer - and great to get out again. Saw a Kingfisher fly past but not perch - good for the soul.
This shot was taken last year and not previously posted. It is a male Common Kingfisher taking a break from fishing for the youngsters.
Great to catch up with you Roger and will hopefully see more of my Flickr friends in the coming months. As mentioned above, I haven't been on Flickr since mid May - so apologies if I have missed any messages.
