Eyelash Pit Viper - yellow morph

Comes in an amazing range of colour morphs.

 

Standing out to predators is not a big issue when you are highly venomous, it waits for prey to wander by - then strikes. The yellow colour is also thought to confuse prey - who maybe think it is the fruit of a tree (banana / fig etc).
