Panic at the disco
Greylag Geese. One male was determinedly chasing off any other geese that landed on the lake. The horizon wasn't quite straight on the original shot, but I quite liked that - so have emphasized it a bit more - seems to add to the panic element in the shot.
I have been reading about how and when birds got their names and apparently the goose is one of the oldest - dating back at least 5,000 years. Birds that were valuable to humans got named first and the Goose has been domesticated for an awful long time.
