Harborough Rocks Mystery Ruins!

Whilst on a romp around Derbyshire the other day, we came across these remains of some sort of building/structure/thing. And whilst we had lots of fun guessing what it was, methinks none of them were anywhere near close to what it actually was (ancient UFO landing platform, Aztec temple, miniature eiffel tower etc).

 

Anyone out there any ideas what it was?
