BNSF 1933 Castle Rock 1 Mar 18

BNSF 1933 leads the southbound Pikes Peak Local out of Castle Rock, CO.

 

The train is still creeping along here after the crew (supposedly) fueled up at McDonald's, but once they got a little south of town, 1933 and its sister SD40-2 had the 12-car load up to track speed.

 

One thing to note: the BNSF patch has survived on this side of the lead unit, but on the other side, it's been patched with an other-than-Cascade-Green paint...
