BNSF 8492 leads a southbound coal train in Colorado Springs, CO.
I initially wanted to shoot this train either on the S-curve south of Monument or from the North Gate Bridge on the Air Force Academy. Of those two, I opted for the Air Force Academy, but I got caught up in an influx of traffic trying to get through the gate, so much so that I missed the shot. This angle here was my fallback shot in case it didn't work out on the Academy.
