BNSF 1675 (built as BN 8025 in 3/78) and BNSF 1933 (built as BN 7134 in 1/79) lead a northbound Pikes Peak Local on the Air Force Academy, CO.
This was an awesome surprise. I spotted these guys in downtown Colorado Springs earlier on this particular afternoon, but as has been the norm on the Joint Line recently, things were completely shut down. Fortunately, these guys got a green signal, and I was able to detour while out on an errand and snagged this shot.
A pair of Cascade Green SD40-2s in 2016? Gold!
