BNSF 9402 leads a short southbound manifest past the historic settlement of Huntsville just north of Larkspur.
The cabin is the restored Crull Hammond Cabin which was brought back in the early to mid-2000s. Once the exterior was complete, the Larkspur Historical Society "did a fund raiser to raise funds for furnishing the inside with period artifacts. Douglas Country has preserved this space to be enjoyed by school children and the general public and to show an example of early life on the frontier." And nothing says "early life on the frontier" quite like plastic patio furniture...FAIL! I could have Photoshopped those out of the window, but I'm too lazy...just pretend they aren't there.
