Two different method of arborist rope ascent
The fixed rope methods of ascent, here a double fixed rope, are faster than the moving double rope methods, and of those thrutching when the tree trunk in pretty near vertical is possibly the slowest, so the foot locker ascending a doubled fixed tope who started second has now overtaken the thrutcher, who keeps suffering from penduluming delays.
Taken at Edinburgh Treefest 9-10 June 2007, a tree climbing demo by the Scottish Arboricultural Association.
