Blackwood Station
Blackwood Station, in the foothills of Adelaide is a heritage listed, working station, with the only signal box of its kind remaining in the state of South Australia. The building is a Class1 SAR station. The station is made of sandstone, so it survived a fire and was subsequently restored in the 1980s. There is now a breezeway through the middle of the building, courtesy of the fire.
