Ulva is a small island to the west of Mull. A ferry takes visitors across the short stretch of water that separates Ulva from Mull.
In June 2018, thanks to a crowd-funding appeal and local fundraising, the isle of Ulva passed into community ownership using the provisions of Scotland’s Community Right to Buy legislation.
