Tweede Boerenprotest

Malieveld, Den Haag.

 

Second Farmers' Protest. They were not allowed onto the Malieveld, but then.... how to withhold a farmland tractor? So, here they are at the Malieveld....

 

This farmer is flying the National Flag upside-down. It is an international sign of distress. It is a cry of emergency to the State's Government.

 

In the case of the Dutch flag it has a double meaning: the color red is for the people, the color white represents the church and the color blue is for the nobility (elite). Normally the color red (people) is on top, now it is at the bottom with the elite on top. Most of the time a sign that something is wrong....
