Legend is an upcoming 2015 British crime thriller[2] film written and directed by Brian Helgeland. The film is based on the book The Profession of Violence: The Rise and Fall of the Kray Twins by John Pearson,[3][4] which deals with the rise and fall of the Kray twins; the relationship that bound them together, and charts their gruesome career to their downfall and imprisonment for life in 1969.[5][6]
This is the fifth feature film directed by Brian Helgeland. Tom Hardy and Emily Browning star with Colin Morgan, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, Chazz Palminteri, Tara Fitzgerald and Taron Egerton featured in supporting roles.
