Pink Outside the Box

The moon graces the sunrise skies over Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buriram Province, home of the most extensive and best kept Khmer temple ruins in Thailand. The Khmer Empire was the predecessor state to modern Cambodia which borders this area of Thailand. Based atop an ancient inactive volcano, Phanom Rung was built in a classic Angkor style between the 10th and 13th centuries and was dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva.
