ok, so that’s a slightly modified paraphrase of what i yelled when i found this little beast in my sink one night in africa. sheesh! can’t a girl brush her teeth in peace? apparently not.
actually, this thing was really neat looking, and i remember thinking to myself “ooooooh, cool macro!”. but it had the rather unfortunate habit of holding completely still for unpredictable but long-ish amounts of time, then suddenly leaping 8 inches into the air like some sort of reptilian jackie chan. a small freak-out later, i abandoned my macro dreams and got reacquainted with my zoom lens.
so, bad light, bad angle…too bad.
