M1_redux

This is a new image of M1 that was made with longer single exposures through luminance (clear), red, green, and blue filters using the SV152 apo and an SBIG ST-10XME ccd camera. About 100 seconds in a single luminance image, two 180-second images each of red and green, and two 287-second blue images. No Photoshop enhancements other than a 5% contrast enhancement and a slight histogram stretch to separate the nebula from the background. Small unsharp masking in MaxImDL. From my driveway on Nov. 30 during near-perfect seeing.

Scope, camera and mount supplied by 3RF (see www.3rf.org).
