m25_Cassini_debrisfield

The large crater below center is Cassini and the rough area at top center is a debrisfield of impact ejecta. Image is a Registax-processed stack of 450 frames from a ToUCam Pro 840K, using a 4X Televue Powermate and Stellarvue 152mm apo. Mons Piton, about 2,250 m tall, is at far left. Promontorium Agassiz is just above left of Cassini and Promontorium Deville is just above that. The Caucusus mountains are protruding into the view at lower right.

Scope and mount supplied by 3RF (see www.3rf.org).
