lightbox wiring detail

Wiring detail for bulbs in light box. There is no switch because I use a switched power cord.

Unlike LEDs, these bulbs do not emit a great deal of highly focused IR, but instead have a sort of warm glow overall at the box top, which a short exposure essentially ignore.

The length of the sides is chosen so as to keep the inside top out of focus, both for visual and IR wavelengths.

This box works well for photometry applications as long as the flat-field exposures are shorter than about 30 seconds. I haven't tested it at longer exposures.
