Waterdrop 1812

Fiddling around with waterdrops. This is with Pentax istDS DSLR and 70-220mm Soligor macro lens at 100mm, F22 using Vivitar 6000AF ringlight flash. Camera lens is at 12 inches from center of bowl, and ringlight is same distance at a 45-degree angle from the right.

 

Look closely and you can see the ringlight reflected in the round drop (left side).

 

ISO was 1600, but flash controlled exposure so the shutter was probably something like 1/120th.

 

Water drop was a single drop from an eyedropper held 32 inches above bowl.
