Small solar flares (called "Ellerman bombs") from Sunspot 923 on 2006 November 8, photographed from the campus of The University of Texas at Dallas. 3RF's Coronado SM70 Ca-K scope was fitted with a 2.5X Televue Powermate and a MaxPower 2X nosepiece barlow; 2,000mm EFL.
