Chillon-gunstock-inlay
This flintlock musket was about 6 feet long, I kid you not, and featured fantastic inlays. It was fired using a Y-shaped stick to support the end of the barrel. I don't know what it weighed, but I would guess about 25 pounds. There are several of them in horizontal glass museum cases in the armory of Chateau Chillon. I put the Olympus digital camera into macro mode and held it against the upper glass of the case. Until the flash fired I hadn't realized there are two layers of glass in the case. The upper one is actually Lexan and theft-resistant.
