Location of the 23 separate alignment points for Registax processing of the Maurolycus image.

 

To avoid processing artifacts on the boundaries of the alignment areas in MAP processing, use larger boxes and select center points for the alignments such that the boxes overlap sufficiently (avoid butting boxes against one another -- make sure there is generous overlap).
