jup-30-4x

This is one of about 50 I made last night and intend to stitch together into an animation showing Jupiter rotating. That'll take awhile, as I'm only about halfway through the bunch. This is the best 500 of 600 frames from an AVI made with 3RF's SV152 apo, a ToUCam Pro 840K, and a 4X Televue Powermate. I'm surprised at how good these are turning out, given the Moon was only about 10 degrees away at the time, and near-Full. The Great Red Spot rotated into view about a half-hour after I shot this. Mouseover shows edge of GRS at limb.

Scope and mount supplied by 3RF (see www.3rf.org).
