NewRedSpot-j30

A different AVI file from 2006-03-06 yielded this improved image of Jupiter's new red spot Oval-B, seen at lower left where the white zone narrows just below the South Equatorial Belt. Hover the mouse over the image to see a box surrounding the new spot. The Great Red Spot is just approaching the limb at lower right. This is a stack of 524 frames made by a ToUCam Pro 840K in the SV152 apo, processed with Registax (no Photoshop).

Scope and mount supplied by 3RF (see www.3rf.org).
