The Golden Aperture
This beach is really remote. I'm talking off the grid. I passed it up twice on Highway 1 before I figured it out. How? Well, the State of California doesn't want anyone finding this awesome hole in the wall beach. The road winds and winds through narrow canyons before you get to the gate. For awhile I actually thought I was in some dude's really big back yard. This is Julia Pfeiffer State Beach.
Once we got there; it was EPIC. I'd have to say it was in the top 10 places I've ever been in my life. It was remote, unique, and downright photogenic. I really wish it wasn't so windy, but I'd settle for a hurricane if that meant I got to see this place.
