A Raven's View

I've been on a University of Chicago kick lately, but with good reason. The place is a gold mine for photography. This was taken awhile ago when Matt Frankel first gave us a tour of the campus. In fact, you can see Matthew taking a photo in quad if you look closely.

 

I walked up a set of steel stairs on the side of this building to get this vantage point. Composing a shot using a tripod involves some wrangling with the steel grated floor.
