Wait your turn

Penn Central GP38 7851 is heading west in late afternoon on May 10th, 1975 as a Chessie train patiently waits for the signal at Vickers, Ohio to finish the last few miles of their trip into C&O's Walbridge Yard. The 7851 west was one of a parade of westbounds that showed up on that particular day in the afternoon, perfect light for shooting. Trailing the 7851 is U33B 2940 and U25B 2558.

Toledo Terminal trains were often held up an hour or two to cross the busy PC main line as can be the case today under NS control.
