Part of a mould-blown glass cup decorated with a chariot race
Fragment of an emerald green mold-blown glass cup decorated with a chariot-race. Judging by the number of legs, it was a quadriga, a four-horse chariot. The spokes of the chariot wheel look off-center, and they lean forward, perhaps to suggest speed. These types of vessels may have been souvenirs from a day at the chariot races.
