Lonely Semi-Palmated Plover

I was up on the road at first light. It was going to be a beautiful day but being on the coast we have a lot of localized fog. By the time I got to destination, I could not see two inches in front of me. I doubted there was going to be much subjects on the shore. I was so happy to discover that one guy, but he looked so vulnerable and lonely. The fog was moving in wave with the breeze and wind, and gave me from time to time enough of a break for some images like this one I was happy with.
