Earth Hour (#66)
Earth Hour is a joint initiative between the World Wildlife Fund Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald to raise awareness of the means to reduce global warming emissions by encouraging Sydney residents and businesses to turn off their lights for one hour on March 31st 2007.
This shot was taken halfway through Earth Hour. As you can tell from this photo, the organisers were only partially successful in gaining widespread support for Earth Hour.
