Earth Hour
Earth Hour is a joint initiative between the World Wildlife Fund Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald to raise awareness of the means to reduce global warming emissions by encouraging Sydney residents and businesses to turn off their lights for one hour on March 31st 2007.
Many Sydney-siders took the opportunity to come out to the harbour foreshore to witness the event. This photo was taken at 7.29pm, one minute before Earth Hour.
