Orion's Belt and Nebula

I finally got the 50mm 1.8 lens. The clouds cleared out around midnight giving me an opportunity to try out the new lens.

This is five 10 second exposures at ISO of 1600 and f-stop set at 1.8. The exposures where combined in a software program called Deep Sky Stacker.

This is the uncropped version because I wanted to demonstrate just what the 50mm lens will do for you if you use it for astrophotography. Not too bad.
