Pre-Planning Workshop for Farmer Exchange Visit in Nyando
Agricultural stakeholders, farmers’ and partners working with The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), East Africa in Nyando and Kericho areas came together from October 27 – 30 October 2014 to plan for a farmer exchange visit. The visit locations are informed by the Climate Analogues tool which generates, coordinates to an area with a climate similar to the one the area will experience in future. This process improves the adaptive capacity of farmers in an area.
