Going Up!
This is how things look as you head up on the ski lift in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It is intimidating from the ground because it appears SOOOO steep! Actually, it's much less frightening that it appears in the beginning, as the incline isn't really that sharp, and takes a while to reach the top. I will be posting more shots going up, at the top, and coming down looking at Gatlinburg from the air.
The scariest part was looking up at the cable, which was frayed in one spot! Now THAT was intimidating! Still, at most points on the ride we weren't all that far off the ground, which was comforting. I tried to get a shot of the frayed cable, but it didn't come out very well!
