All Propped Up
The New Smyrna Beach Airport is right on US Hwy 1, south of the Daytona Beach area, and many smaller aircraft fly out of there. The Chrysler dealership is just a little bit south of it, and I pass by when I get oil changes. On my last visit, this great old prop lane was sitting close to the road, luring me to capture its image!
I don't know much about planes, but it looks to me to be a 1950's commercial plane of some sort, in pretty good condition for its age. Since I'm a 1950's version, too, I have to admit that it's probably in better shape than I am!
