What happened to our Downtown? / Sad but True

As I turned off of Old Colony Rd. and looked left, it nearly brought tears to my eyes to see out downtown being chopped to pieces, one building at a time. All in the name of improvement. I think it looks awful. This was such a beautiful, vibrant place in the past. In the 1950s, people were all over the place, and you could walk from store to store, for all your needs. Now, it's just a mess.
