A steam vent at Hverir of north Iceland
This photo was taken 1 am in the morning. Hverir is one of those locations where you can use the full five hours of magic light during the late spring and early summer. Hverir is one of my favorite geothermal areas in Iceland. Unlike the much more heavily visited Haukadalur Valley (Geysir), it is largely free of man-made distractions.
