South Manitou Lighthouse

Here I'm backpacking with my Son Andrew on South Manitou Island. We're taking a tour of the lighthouse. As I look at the photo, I'm amazed that I'm holding onto him like I'm afraid he might fall off or something. Today, he's a Senior in High School, and he's taller than I am. I've had to let him go a bit.

 

PS: I forgot how long I've had my North Face Jacket. This photo was before I wrecked on my mountain bike and put a hole in it.
