N Manitou camp
The morning light revealed the magnificence of North Manitou Island. The rock-free beach sands were pure white. The shallow water was nice for swimming. This is the farthest point on the island from the ferry landing so hiker traffic is light. From our campsite, we had a tree-framed view of South Manitou Island.
