#1 stiff buttercream dam about a half inch from the edge of the cake.

#2 crumb coated

#3 wrapped with heavy weight on top. into the frig over night

#4 out of the frig, unwrapped... bulges ready to be trimmed.

#5 using a serrated knife to remove the bulge

#6 using a heated bench scraper to smooth the sides.

#7 fondant placed, trimming edges with a small, sharp knife

#8 fondant complete, this is the worst part, easy to conceal

#9 this will be the front of the cake
