Museum of Bad Art: Fake Security Camera
From the Museum of Bad Art, in the basement of the otherwise lovely Somerville Theatre. The Museum, of course, has its online collection of bad art, but I figure bad photos of the bad art can only be a positive contribution to the cause.
The security camera here is clearly & prominently marked as being FAKE. It was installed in response to a work that was stolen some time ago, offered a reward of $6.50, and later raised to $36 via generous donations from visitors. In spite of this, no one claimed the bounty, and eventually, someone just dropped it back off.
No connection to the Isabella Stewart Gardner robbery was ever proven.
