Avenue of the Flags
Since 1992 there's been a tradition at the Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville (California USA) known as The Avenue of Flags. A bunch of wonderful folks have donated over 300 American Flags and twice each year, on Memorial and Veteran's Days, another bunch of wonderful folks put them up for several hours. It's definitely something to behold and a great place to ponder the sacrifices made by so many to keep Old Glory flying over our wonderful land!
